Satisfaction and Engagement with Flipped Classroom of Engineering Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study satisfaction and engagement with flipped classroom of engineering students and 2) to gather supplemental suggestions. Research samples were 280 Engineering students at Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology in first semester of 2018 academic year, derived through simple random sampling technique. The instruments used for gathering the data were the rating-scale and open-ended questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The research findings were as follows:1. Satisfaction and engagement with flipped classroom of engineering students at Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology were at a highest level.2. Engineering students had supplemental suggestions as following: Flipped classroom should be provided in all subjects for all students, learning with this style is challenging, and therefore, it should be done in EFL classroom.
