Needs of Technology in Education Perceived by Thai Undergraduate Students in 21st Century

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study needs of technology in education perceived by Thai undergraduate students in 21st century and 2) to gather supplemental suggestions. Research samples were 450 undergraduate students at Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology in second semester of 2017 academic year, derived through simple random sampling technique. The instruments used for gathering the data were the rating-scale and open-ended questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The research findings were as follows:1. Needs of technology in education perceived by Thai undergraduate students in 21stcentury as a whole were at the highest level.2. TNI students had supplemental suggestions as following: e-learning techniques should be adapted in education; Leaning activities supported life-long learners should bearranged in technology.
